Available on-line only. Safe and secure video appointments are available that you can access from the comfort and privacy of your own home. Individual counselling can take the form of traditional talk therapy, somatic therapy, short-term problem solving, or any combination of the above. As I practice on the traditional territory of the Haida Nation, my work is guided by the Haida Ways of Being; interconnectedness, consent, reconciliation, and respect.

We are a collective of Haida and allied mental health and wellness providers that come from all over the islands. We are dedicated to offering highly effective healing retreats, psycho-educational workshops, and cultural connections. We can design staff retreats, professional development opportunities, healing retreats or workshops and more - all grounded in Haida values and ways of being.

SewnArt

Canvas informs Artist. SewnArt is a series of artworks created by Janet Rigg that began in 2004. Random pieces of canvas are sewn together, hand-stretched on a frame, and then hand-sewn to create a one-of-a-kind textured canvas on which to paint. The folds and stitching inform the subject of the final painting, which is both visual and sculptural.
